CABOT - This December, consider voting with your dollar in favor of locally owned, independent retailers. Why? There are many reasons shopping locally benefits our community. Numerous studies have shown that locally owned businesses generate as much as 70 percent more local economic impact per square foot than the “big box” chain stores. More of your money remains within the local economy when you buy goods and services from local providers, continuing to strengthen the economic base of our community.
